March with Pride
Each year, a delegation of MTA educators march behind the MTA banner at pride parades across the state. The Boston Pride for the People parade is the biggest.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer + Committee
The LGBTQ+ Committee identifies organizational concerns of LGBTQ+ members; recommends to the MTA Board of Directors mechanisms to address those concerns; monitors the implementation and effectiveness of LGBTQ+ membership activities; and communicates to the membership on all MTA activities that are of concern to LGBTQ+ members.
